What to Expect Your First Visit

During your first visit, you will meet with Dr. Autumn and discuss your current health issues as well as a full past health history. She will then perform an exam consisting of simple range of motion tests and other orthopedic testing. If warranted, x-rays will be taken. After all the findings of the history, exam, and x-rays have been compiled and reviewed, Dr. Autumn will determine if an adjustment would be appropriate that day. Don’t worry if you have never been adjusted! She will walk you through everything and make sure that you are comfortable at all times. A typical first visit can last from 30-45 minutes. Submitting your new patient paperwork online before you come into the office will help speed along your first visit.

How long will the first visit take?

Depending on the severity of your case, the first visit times will vary. On average they last from 30-45 minutes.

Will I get adjusted on the first visit?

Each case is very different and handled as such. Dr. Autumn will review your case and any findings from exam and x-ray to determine if it is appropriate for you to have an adjustment that day. There are other therapies offered in the office that might be more appropriate for palliative care the first visit.

How much will the first visit cost?

Every case is unique and will require a different level of examination and care. This means that every cost is also unique. Consultations in the office are free, and once the level of exam and treatment are determined, Dr. Autumn will discuss the cost of your visit before she proceeds any further.

“Love how she takes interest in all of you! Takes the time to really listen to how you are feeling and your concerns and then does what it takes within her power to help you deal with the issues. Very knowledgable and it shows in how she practices.”
